The Fetishes section of Yahoo Chat has been eliminated, or at least made
difficult to access! Obviously this is part of the Yahoo's ongoing attempt
to eliminate all that offends the morality police. Simple answer...all
that was once a fetishes:xx will now become a married but looking room

| After the Demise of the User rooms in June of 2005, some of the "refugees" started grouping together in the Yahoo pre existing rooms. For example the Feet Fetish Folks started hanging out in fetishes:39. Some of the early hangout rooms were the foot worship room in fetishes:39, the cuckold room fetishes:42 and the Small Penis Room fetishes:32. Many others have come after.

08/15/07 Yahoo introduces a captcha (aka scratch and sniff) to the room entry process. This is a major pain in the ass but it will render massive bot swamping useless. Bots can be introduced manually into rooms to reek havoc, but they will not be able to cruise rooms. The new relatively bot free rooms have potential. I will be exploring this in the coming months. 07/13/06 Yahoo and MSN messengers are now compatable for IM's. http://www.technewsworld.com/story/51753.html
Unfortunatly, this has done nothing to restore the user rooms, as some predicted. 05/06/06 The "Group Chat Room" option has been eliminated. Well they were good why they lasted. There are MANY unused, virtually unknown preexisting Yahoo Chat Rooms, that have little or no bot traffic. Contact Roomlistingman for a listing, if you are interested.

Yahoo Chat Is Broken; Consider PalTalk
When the user rooms first shutdown I tried the free version of Paltalk. It was unacceptable. The free version was too ad filled The rooms were very restrictive. There seemed to be no body on Pal Talk compared to Yahoo. Finally the cam option for free users stunk. The cams stayed on only long enough to tease.
