Starting A New Room My Room isn't listed? or I would like to see a room listing! I wish I could help folks get every room started that they would like. Unfortunately, its just me here and what limited resources I have. I can't start every room that used to exist as a user room. SIMPLY LISTING A ROOM ISN'T ENOUGH. I tried listing every request in the beginning with no success! Without a regular person in the room (lets say women women women), the room simply dries up and dies! To make matters worse when a person looks at the list and finds that most of the rooms are not occupied they believe the list is bogus (and I have people poo poo list as such!) In the end just listing rooms by request is useless, in fact counterproductive. BUT if you want to list a room and do a little extra then please get a hold of me. I call these people that get a room going with some extra effort "room champion" I found that rooms don't start without a room champion or a group of room champions who give a little extra! A little extra includes staying in the room for a few hours a day! At first it will be slow but it will pay off. Keep in mind after all every one is moving around from room to room looking, it really doesn't make a difference if you cruise rooms are stay still! One of the first Questions You Should Ask is if You want to start hangout room or a group room? Both Have strengths and weaknesses. A room champion should start by getting Yahelite, or Yaheh, or some other chat client that allows you to be in several rooms at once. Group Rooms are bot free and can actually be named for the subject and have a subject attached that is relative? Many folks find getting in and out of rooms tricky ..just too complicated. With the Yahlist Messenger, and YRemote Control this should be less of a problem. If you have a pre-existing or created group chat room and you would like it to be listed on the yahlist.net group room directory which is served to the YAHLIST MESSENGER AND YAHLIST REMOTE CONTROL then submit it using this form YOU MUST HAVE A VALID YAHOO GROUP CREATED AT GROUPS.YAHOO.COM Hangout Rooms are easier to get into, and get more passer through traffic, but they don't have any name, other than the predefined yahoo name (fore example fetishes:42). The really bad thing about hangout rooms is the bots actually so aggressive they even take up 20 or 30 spots in the room and won't leave!!! Either way you decide to go you should do the following 1. Get a solid chat client that will let you get into several rooms at once. A solid 3rd Party Chat Client allows you to get in several rooms at once. What this means is you can stay in your "interest" room to keep people there, while you cruise other rooms with different profiles to collect other people interested!
