YahEh Review *note Yahoo has discontinued the use of YCHT protocol

Yaheh:  Yaheh is an open source, free, yes FREE program.  Yaheh is similar to yahelite except on a few points. 

Update 05-26-06 : Yaheh only works in YMSG mode YCHT mode has been eliminated

Yaheh maybe more vulnerable to booting but its quick re-login to the same room, and the fact that it can chat in the room on YCHT while PMing in YMSG  makes it very frustrating for booters.  They can boot you, but not for long and often they're status windows say you are booted but you are still chatting in the room. After attempting to boot a Yaheh client a few times the booter gives up, because honestly it isn't worth the effort (besides the fact that they're bots won't log in after a few sessions). 

Yaheh allows you to chat in an a bunch of instances I have had up to 20 on at the same time .  (Tech heads say this is impossible, but I do it just don't get more than 3 ID's in the same room).     In other words you can be in many many rooms at the same time.  Just don't get more than three (3) in the same room, or all you ID's face a chat ban.  Actually since I first reviewed this client I found that the trick is to enter slow, one profile at a time, use a proxy type service, and toggle servers.

My personal experiments with booters vs. Chat Clients indicates Yaheh is just a hair wimpier than Yahelite and Yazak when fending of boot attacks,  Yaheh resisted 10/13 styles of boot attacks with 125 bots, in full button down YCHT mode.  Additionally many boot attacks successfully lag Yaheh (but don't boot), perhaps its the open YMSG protocol,  where as they don't lag Yahelite and Yazak.

Yaheh is suffering from lack of support, it has a lot of potential but the new owners do not have time to treat it correctly, this chat client may soon die.  I still use it because it allows me multiple logins and it has the auto logon issue.   I'm now not recommending it to those that plan on running less than 4 applications of yahoo chat clients.

 Yaheh used to be  my choice to fend of booters, because of the easy to use interface multiple logins and the fast re logon, it can be booted but they get no satisfaction out of it, its free, and it works very good to keeping  the bot spamming down!!!   I think my main attraction is the ability to create so many room logons.  If creating more than 4 logins is not a priority for you, maybe you should consider  yahelite, or y tunnel as better options. 

 Additionally Yaheh can be made even more frustrating to booters by changing your case setting on your login.  The dual YCHT, YMSG login makes a situation where if u change up your case settings they will only try to boot your YCHT login (YCHT protocol  is tough to boot), while the fact that the case is changed up will make your YMSG login get left alone.  For example your login is "george" change your login on yaheh to "GeoRge" , the changed up profile is what booters will see in the room and that is what they will type into booter software, they will then attempt to boot your tough YCHT login and that in turn will leave your vulnerable YMSG login intact.   BTW the cam and the voice work fine in Yaheh, for most people
