Yahelite Review *note Yahoo has discontinued the use of YCHT protocol

Yahelite: This program is a nice alternative to yahoo messenger but its still bootable.  Yahelite in the button down mode is really  tough to boot, but it still can be booted.  If I wasn't so heavily involved in multiple logins,  I think I would be partial to Yahelite.  As far as the free chat clients go I am now giving my endorsement to Yahelite.  If you have are just slightly tech savvy, you can't beat the price!

In my personal study using real boot software vs. chat clients Yahelite tied with Yazak in boot resistance, unfortunately  the manual relogon allows for the booter to get unnecessary satisfaction, and confirmation of booting you.  Yahelite resisted 12/13 styles of booting attack with 125 bots, with yahelite in full button down mode.

Additionally Yahelite is bot resistant. It has  spam filter levels to select from.   At the highest filter level you don't see the bots who are in the room, but you may not see some real people too.  As with most of the alternative chat clients potential PM have to pass a spam test which cuts down substantially on pms from spam bots.  Yahelite is good, arguably better than Yaheh, fending off boot attacks, it is the best chat client out there as far as bots and Spam  are concerned.

Yahelite  has nasty iggy messages and room avatars,  but I recommend not using them because they give data away to booters.   I know the cam and voice work for most but it never has worked for me (yes I used Y cabby), but I really haven't spent too much time with it.  I got the voice and cam to work sorry I bashed Yahelite for so long it was relatively easy, just made sure that yahoo messenger was installed on the computer that Yahelite uses, apparently they use the same driver.   BTW yahelite is free and has a spell checker! 

Note: An Avatar Exploit has been recently used to boot Yahelite Please make sure you are using the latest version!!

Chat Protocol Used: YCHT, CHAT2, YMSG  (user selects protocol at login)

If you are cheap the best over all chat client, its a little tough to get used to, but after that it kicks ass, hard to boot, lots of features, 4 applications at once
