Y tunnel Review

Y tunnel: This is the most popular boot resister and bot filter.  Y tunnel isn't actually a chat client its a strap on program that "tunnels" data thru to the yahoo messenger.  By doing this it acts as a filter.  Y tunnel is easy to use, and if you aren't having web cam issues with yahoo messenger then you won't have them with  Y-tunnel.  But because of Yahoo messengers inherit weaknesses it still is vulnerable.  Y tunnel has a lot of potential though if you are a tech savvy type. It has lots of little switches to flip and I haven't fully explored them yet.

Y tunnel is really slick and easy to use for average person familiar to yahoo if you are just looking to get rid of all the bot annoyances Y-tunnel is the program, it falls down when it comes to booting.  My wife loves Y tunnel she doesn't spend as much time making people mad like I do on Yahoo.  Her cam is always welcome, so they bots  and pests are more of an issue,  and if bots and pests are your main  issue, Y tunnel bares some serious review.

In my personal study using real boot software vs. chat clients Y tunnel resisted some common attacks well but did not come close to the YCHT clients.  Y tunnel resisted 8/13 styles of boot attacks with 125 bots, with y tunnel in  full button down mode.

 People like the nasty iggy messages it gives the room when you ignore a bot or a jerk.  Unfortunately those nasty iggy message give away the fact that you are using Y tunnel which is most defiantly bootable.

Y tunnel offers substantially more protection than messenger it still is vulnerable and by advertising the fact that you are using it with nasty iggy messages you are just broadcasting your vulnerability. BTW don't pay to get a client that is bootable just so you can get hateful iggy messages, yahelite, and yaheh are free and you can get the evil iggy messages on them too.

 If you aren't a tightwad and booting isn't a problem for you and you only want to run one application of messenger at once yahoo is my pick for a chat client/tunnel.
